Alexander Graham Bell letter to his father describing telephone sells for US$93G
AMHERST, N.H. - An Alexander Graham Bell letter containing a diagram of the telephone has sold for nearly US$93,000. Amherst, N.H., auction house RR Auction says the Bell letter — written to his father in 1878 after a "lightning accident" — sold Wednesday night to a Texas collector for US$92,856.
